Shared mobility is entering a decisive moment. In The Integration Countdown, cities, public transport authorities and shared mobility operators step into the spotlight to shape the future of integrated mobility systems. We bring the interim results of UITP’s two integration squads centre stage and put bold hypotheses under pressure, inviting the audience to react, vote, challenge and push ideas further. The session turns into a live arena where visions clash, alliances emerge and new directions take shape. Because when integration becomes the final countdown, the crowd doesn’t just watch,  it helps decide whether shared mobility will truly rock the public transport ecosystem.

Mareike Rauchhaus

nextbike Group / Director Communications and Public Policy

From Germany

Short bio

Mareike has been managing the public affairs at nextbike for over a decade. She has played a key role in the company's development from a pioneer of micromobility to the market leader in bike sharing. She was featured in Die Zeit as one of the 100 most important young East Germans. She is founding member of the CIE Bike Sharing Expert Group, is board member of Zukunft Fahrrad, hub lead at Women in Mobility and has recently co-founded Women In Cycling Germany. For this woman, the (shared) bicycle is one of the most important means of transport for daily routes besides reducing pollution, noise and much more with comparatively little investment. For her, multimodal mobility is not a vision of the future, but a lived reality.
