Public transport and shared mobility are often presented as the perfect couple but in reality, their relationship can be complicated. In hot n cold, we explore the love-hate dynamics between cities, transport authorities and shared mobility operators trying to build seamless mobility systems. What are the barriers that make cooperation difficult, from governance and data sharing to funding models and user experience. Through real cases and honest debate, this session looks at when integration works, when it struggles, and what could be a good treatment to “a case of a love bipolar, stuck on a rollercoaster, can't get off this ride". Because creating a truly integrated mobility ecosystem is not just about falling in love, it’s about constantly working different positions out.
