Mobility should empower people, not hold them back. In Break Through Mobility Barriers, participants step into an interactive workshop where real-life cases from Belgium and the UK show how shared mobility can help people overcome transport poverty and accessibility challenges. From guiding low-income households towards shared mobility to designing bike-sharing solutions for people with disabilities, this session explores what it takes to make mobility systems truly inclusive. Through a dynamic game format, the audience is invited to rethink priorities, remove obstacles and co-create pathways towards more accessible mobility. Because when barriers fall and opportunities rise, shared mobility doesn’t just move people, it helps them break through to the other side.
