On September 29th, the Rijtuigenloods in Amersfoort was shaking to its core for Shared Mobility Rocks 2025. With 320 participants, dozens of speakers and one shared mission: to show that shared mobility rocks, inspires, and is an essential part of how we move today and in the future.
Throughout the day, participants explored bold sessions that questioned assumptions, experimented with new formats and stretched the shared mobility imagination.
The programme combined serious content with unexpected encounters, live debates and hands-on moments. It wasn’t about passively listening, but about participating, co-creating and rethinking the role of shared mobility in our cities.
"The atmosphere was friendly and informal, which I think really benefits the outcome."
The day started with an energising warm-up by Jeffrey Matthijs (Way to Go) and Tjalle Groen (Mpact), who set the tone with their vision on the future of shared mobility. Participants then explored the user perspective during an interactive session featuring real-life testimonies and group discussions on how to make shared mobility more accessible and inclusive.
Throughout the day, breakout sessions tackled key topics such as procurement challenges, the future of Mobility as a Service, shared mobility in housing developments, rural mobility solutions, mobility hubs and the potential of autonomous and micromobility services.
The event concluded with the Dutch Shared Mobility Awards and a networking reception, bringing participants together to celebrate progress and exchange ideas.
