On 25 May 2022, Autodelen.net, Mpact and the City of Bremen hosted the fourth edition of Shared Mobility Rocks in Bremen. The event brought together more than 200 participants from across Europe and beyond.
The programme featured around 50 speakers and moderators who explored a wide range of topics. The 2022 edition also marked the final conference of the SHARE-North project.
The 2022 edition kicked off on the mainstage with Rebecca Karbaumer (City of Bremen), Jeffrey Matthijs (Autodelen.net) and Angelo Meuleman (Mpact), setting the tone for a lively and thought-provoking day. Early highlights included keynotes from Maike Schaefer, Bremer Transport Minister, and Filip Watteeuw, Deputy Mayor of Ghent, followed by an “uncomfortable session” where audience and speakers debated bold statements on the potential and inclusiveness of shared mobility.
Afterwards, participants joined thematic sessions in English or German, covering topics such as mobihubs, policy, legal frameworks and shared mobility impact. Post-lunch activities included excursions to local mobility sites and interactive jam sessions, keeping the day engaging and hands-on.
The afternoon featured sessions on autonomous mobility, operator–municipality dialogue, and mobility management, culminating on the mainstage with presentations of the Planner’s Guide to the Shared Mobility Galaxy, recognitions for the European Shared Mobility Accelerator cities, and a celebratory finale with the entire SHARE-North consortium.
